Lol! Usually true. I had place in Canton NC at a vintage building of 13 units; I had rad friendly neighbors. One of whom found our lost snake in her heater vent and was way chill about it giggling and unbothered and we left each other thank you notes mutually appreciating the finding the snake. I really wanted to ask what it was like sitting watching TV then realizing there's a snake in your heater vent but I was too flustered to think about it till later. I miss all those neighbors, the ones in FL are not like that, more on that typical side.
